This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The Case Management Nurse Manager will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to: Provides leadership of the day to day operations of the Case Management department. Interprets policies, directives, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help guide Veteran care. Coaches, mentors, and supports Case Management staff in critical thinking for providing case management services. Manages program resources (financial, human, material, and informational) to facilitate safe, effective, and efficient care. Develops, implements, and evaluates the strategic plan for Case Management, including the planning of long-term goals for the department. Promotes the Case Management department throughout the organization to assure accessibility to care while supporting the Veterans choice Initiative. Work Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required.
