The Associate Chief of Staff - Mental Health will function under the broad supervision of the Chief of Staff, and working closely with the MH Service Chiefs, Program Leaders, and professional staff. The ACOS-MH maintains responsibility for the overall direction of a large, high complexity mental health care system to ensure fully integrated approaches to mental health care across multiple geographic settings. A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive may be authorized for a Highly Qualified Applicant. Serves on a Clinical Executive Board, and the Academic Partnership Council. Chairs the Mental Health product line meetings as well as the Mental Health Council Meetings. Provides Leadership in the application of clinical practice to organizational processes and/or systems. Responsible for Safety and Environmental Standards for Mental Health product line. Responsible for Mental Health Product Line budget preparation and analysis. Initiates, implements and presents strategic planning activities for Mental Health programs. Assures product line staffing and resources are adequate to meet patient needs. Responsible for performance improvement (PI) process and measurements. Responsible for creating and maintaining scorecard for Mental Health. Responsible for enforcement of STVHCS policies, rules, regulations, and Medical Staff ByLaws, Rules and Regulations within Mental Health Operations. Responsible for developing and implementing all Mental Health specific policies. Responsible for assuring compliance with clinical practice guidelines and creating systems that promote state of the art chronic care.
